We could use your help with a new logo!
We’ve been around for over a decade and we could use a new look. There are creative people with mad art skills in the community and if you’re one, or just enjoy drawing, we would love your help.
Here is our current logo…
Our hope is for a fresh look, ideally one that will also convey what we are all about. The new logo should also use our nickname, On&Up, instead of our full name–Onwards & Upwards Community Enrichment Fund–which is a bit long.
It’s a lot to ask for but if you are creative maybe you can design the perfect logo!

LOGO DESIGN CONTEST -- RULES
Theme
The new logo should illustrate/communicate in some way On&Up’s mission and current activities:
On&Up is a 501(c)3 non profit charitable organization formed to support and enrich our community through events like Tiki Night fireworks, barge parties, and activities such as an annual scholarships program to encourage volunteerism and shine a light on friends and neighbors who help to make the community a vibrant, supportive, uplifting and fun place to live.
–Any current resident of Wolverine Lake, Michigan, may submit a logo design for consideration. All ages are welcome to design and submit logos.
–The winning logo must be a digital file and easily printable on merchandise.
–A participant may submit up to five (5) logos, submitted all at once or over the duration of the contest.
–Only a participant’s first five (5) submissions will be considered.
–All logos must be submitted electronically by noon on March 31, 2025.
–Group-designed submissions will not be considered. We are looking for individuals to showcase their own artistic talent.
Ethics
–Unless under a legal guardianship or conservatorship, all logo designs must be submitted by the individual who created them.
–A participant may not use a machine learning model, also known as “artificial intelligence” or “AI”, at any point during the contest. This includes touch-up tools in photo editing software powered by AI.
–Any rule violation(s) by a participant, discovered either during or after the contest, will be disqualifying.
What we get and what you get
–The On&Up board of directors will select the logo they think will best represent the organization and look nice.
–The winner will not be financially compensated. This is a community contest meant to be fun. The winner will be announced, will have our sincere gratitude and will have bragging rights!
–The winner agrees to transfer ownership and all copyright privileges of their logo to On&Up so the organization may use the logo freely.
–The winner will present the original file or original copy of their logo to demonstrate no AI was used. Additional evidence may be requested.
–If the On&Up board cannot determine the winning logo’s authenticity, a new winner will be chosen.
